Questions buyers ask before booking the audit

Honest answers about scope, timelines, refunds, data handling, and what happens after the audit.

Scope & deliverables

What's inside the £997 AI Audit, who you'll speak to, and what you walk away with.

What exactly do I get for £997?

A complete AI Audit: two to three stakeholder interviews, a full process map of your business, an AI Readiness Scorecard, 15 to 20 ranked automation opportunities with projected ROI, a quick-wins list your team can action immediately, and an implementation roadmap. You also get an executive summary presentation. The deliverable is a structured document, not a generic slide deck.

How long is the audit engagement?

From kick-off to the final readout, the audit runs for roughly 14 days. Week one is interviews and process discovery; week two is analysis, prioritisation, and the roadmap. You receive the written deliverable and an executive presentation by the end of that fortnight.

How many stakeholders do you interview?

Two to three is the default and covers most SMBs. Typically one founder or commercial lead, one operations or delivery lead, and one team member close to the day-to-day workflow. For larger organisations we can add interviews on request — additional stakeholders are scoped before kick-off so there are no surprise fees.

Will the roadmap actually be implementation-ready?

Yes. Each prioritised opportunity comes with the tools we'd recommend, the rough build effort, expected ROI, and the data or integrations required. The roadmap is written so your in-house team — or any competent automation partner — can pick it up and start building in week one without re-discovery.

Pricing & refunds

What £997 covers, what the monthly programmes include, and our refund policy.

Is there a refund if I'm not satisfied?

Yes. The £997 AI Audit is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If, within 30 days of receiving the deliverable, you don't believe the roadmap is genuinely useful, email info@septemai.com and we'll refund the fee in full. We only ask for honest feedback so we can improve.

What does the monthly subscription cover?

Monthly programmes cover building, deploying and optimising the automations on your roadmap. Starter (£1,499/mo) delivers two to three core automations with monthly reporting. Growth (£2,999/mo) adds a dedicated account manager, weekly optimisation sprints and a 4-hour SLA. Enterprise (£4,999+/mo) adds custom ML models, unlimited automations and 24/7 priority support.

Can I do the audit without subscribing afterwards?

Absolutely. About one in three audit clients takes the roadmap in-house or to an existing partner — the audit is genuinely standalone. There's no auto-enrolment and no pressure to upgrade. If you do come back later, the audit fee is credited against your first month's subscription.

Do you charge for tooling on top of the subscription?

Third-party tooling — for example OpenAI API credits, Zapier seats, vector database hosting — is billed at cost and passed straight through. We don't mark up software. For most SMB engagements tooling lands in the £50 to £300 per month range and is itemised on each invoice.

Timelines & process

When you can start, how quickly results show up, and what happens after the audit.

How quickly can we start?

Most audits kick off within five working days of payment. We send a short pre-audit questionnaire and book the stakeholder interviews on confirmation. If you need to start sooner — for example to inform a board meeting — let us know on the booking call and we'll prioritise scheduling.

When will I see results from the implemented automations?

Quick wins from the audit can ship in week one of a build engagement. Across our client base, measurable results — hours reclaimed, conversion lift, support deflection — typically appear within the first 30 to 60 days. Compounding ROI tends to emerge by month three as automations stack and feed each other.

What happens after the audit?

You receive the written deliverable and the executive presentation. You're then free to (a) implement the quick wins yourself, (b) engage us on a monthly programme to build the roadmap, or (c) hand the document to an existing partner. We follow up after 30 days to check on progress regardless of which path you pick.

Technical & data

Where your data goes, how we handle interview recordings, and our compliance posture.

Where does my data go during the audit?

Process documentation, interview notes and any sample data you share live in an access-restricted workspace on UK or EU infrastructure. We don't train models on your data and we don't share it with third parties. At the end of the engagement you can request deletion, in which case all working files are removed within 14 days.

Do you store call recordings or interview transcripts?

Only with your explicit consent at the start of each call. Transcripts are used to build the process map and are kept inside the same restricted workspace as the rest of the engagement. Raw audio is deleted within 30 days of the readout unless you ask us to keep it for your own records.

Are you GDPR-compliant?

Yes. AI10P Ltd (trading as SeptemAI) operates from London under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We sign a Data Processing Agreement on request, follow ISO 27001 principles for access control and data handling, and keep a register of sub-processors that we'll share before any engagement starts.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes — happy to. We have a standard mutual NDA we can send over before the discovery call, or we'll sign yours. Either way, NDAs are usually in place within 24 hours so we can talk about the actual problem on the first call instead of dancing around it.

Fit

Whether the audit makes sense for your size, your maturity, and your existing tooling.

We're under £1M revenue — is this for us?

Often, yes. The £997 audit is deliberately priced so a sub-£1M SMB can afford it without flinching. The honest filter is whether you have at least two or three people whose hours are being chewed up by repetitive work — if so, the maths usually works. If you're pre-revenue or solo, we'll tell you on the discovery call and point you to lighter-touch options.

We're already running automations — do we still benefit?

Usually more than first-timers, in fact. Teams that already run Zapier, Make or internal scripts tend to have an ageing stack with overlapping flows and silent failures. The audit maps what you actually have, where it's leaking, and which of the new generation of AI tools would replace a brittle pipeline with one that maintains itself.

Are you tooling-agnostic or do you resell software?

Tooling-agnostic. We don't take commissions, kickbacks or partner rev-share from any AI vendor — that's a deliberate policy so the roadmap recommends what's right for you, not what pays us best. We work with whatever stack fits: OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, Zapier, n8n, custom builds, or your existing tools where they're already doing the job.
